CLYDE C. WALZ C lyde C. Walz. 84. of 404 Roosevelt Road. Walkerton, passed aw as at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 22. in his home after a brief illness. He was born on September 26, 189", in Marshall Counts and was a lifetime Walkerton area resi dent. He married Doroths L. Hudelmvcr on August 9, 1922. in Walkerton, w ho surs ives. He was co-owner of the Walkerton Oil Company and Walkerton Ford Sales for 35 sears. He was a member of the Walkerton United I Methodist ( hurch; aSO sear member of the Walkerton Masonic i laxlge 619 F & AM; a member of the St. Joseph Valles of Scottish Rite. South Bend; and (he Orak Shrine Temple. Hammond. Surs is ing along w ith his wife is a son. Edward, of Walkerton; two sisters. Mrs. Inez Walz, Walkerton. and Mrs. Eva (Fred) Straup. South Bend. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Sers ices were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home. Walkerton, with Rev. Walkerton. , MABEL GOLDEN Mrs. Mabel Golden, 85, of Topsfield Terrace Retirement Village. South Bend, formerly of North I ibertv. passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday . October 22. at home after an unexpected illness. She was born on August 9. 1896, in I akevillc and she had lived in this area most of her life. On November.!. 1923. she married Elmer Golden, in Elkhart, who preceded her in death for 40 sears. For the past fisc scars she had taught in Lexington. Kentucky, and served on a governor's task force on education in Kentucky. Surviving is a granddaughter. Ms. Rusts Shade, of Mishawaka; a grandson. Rick Luke, of San Diego.
