Series Os Classes To Be Held Here The Reverend Rebeccah Clark, minister of Unity of Michiana. South Bend, will present a 10-week scries of classes based on Charles Fillmore’s book "The Twelve Powers of Man”. The class which will meet at the Marshall County R.E.M.C. at ’:3O p.m. beginning October 20 will offer practical w ays for each person to develop his inherent powers of faculties such as faith, love, strength and wisdom . Charles Fillmore was co-founder of the Unity School of Christianity. Unity Village. Missouri. Unity is known throughout the world for its Silent Unity prayer ministry, its publications Daily Word. Unity magazine, and Wee Wisdon. and “The Word” heard on radio and television. Rebeccah Clark is a graduate of the Unity School of Ministerial Studies and had Unity ministries in Decatur and Atlanta. presided at the business session Mrs. Daube gave the devotions Mr. Knowlton reported on the re cent county board meeting and made some announcements. Young Farmers Marketing Seminar. November 23. Kokomo; State Con vention at Indianapolis, December 6-8; and Mrs. Knowlton, women’s leader, announced that the District meeting will be held on November I" and the Women’s Conference will be on March 30 and 31. La Porte County received a trophy for fifth place in the float parade at the State Fair. A donation was made to the LaPorte County Mental Health. Those serving on the member ship drive will be Mr. and Mrs Floyd Dipert. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton and John Cord. Miss Penny Zila was a guest. Attendance awards were receiv cd by Mrs. Sidney Smith and Clin ton Bowers. Refreshments were served by Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowers. A turkey supper will be served at the November meeting with Mr and Mrs. Knowlton. Mr. and Mrs Richard Hesters and Mrs. Kaul man on the committee.
