Robert Gearheart, pastor of the Walkerton United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. She was a retired Bell Telephone Co. operator. She was born on March 8. 1906, in St. Joseph County. She had lived in Detroit for 55 years after living in lowa. Surviving are three sisters. Mrs. Margaret Townsend, of Salem. Singleton, 78. of 6752E CR SON. Mill Creek, passed away on Friday . April 17, at 6:30 a.m. at his home. He was born on June 30. 1902, in North Liberty, to William and Clara (Royce) Singleton and had lived at Mill Creek all his life. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War 11. Surviving is a son, Gary, of Wanatha; two sisters. Mrs. Dorothy Hilling, of New Port. Washington. and Thelma Wolff, of LaPorte; and three brothers. Gilbert, Glen and Emory, all of North Liberty.
