Mr. and Mrs. James Capek came back Saturday after spending a feu months at Fort Myers. Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Vanderheof came home last Tuesday after a u inter of living and enjoying the warm climate in Punta Gorda, Florida. Mrs. Garner’s family had hosted a dinner for her and the reception in the afternoon for her 86th birthday. She was especially pleased to see so manv of her former friends appear from Walkerton. A birthday dinner was enjoyed Friday evening in the home of Mrs. Bertha Urbin honoring the birthday of her daughter. Mrs. Virginia Guttman. Other guests were Dr.

Whites To Celebrate 25th Anniversary O. C. and Margaret White. Walkerton, will be honored with an open house on Sunday. April 12. in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary at the Walkerton Community Building from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Hosting the open house will be their three sons. Dean. Gloria and Chuck Joyce and Renee Plank returned from Florida and Texas. The women did a little better this week. Doris Crane won the handi cap game with a 200 and had a 161 game. Lucille Dipcrt had another good game of 181 Eleanor Knight had a 450 scries with a 170 game. Roman Brehm won the men's handicap game with a 235 and had a 184 game. Jim Connelly had a 173 game. Andy Anderson had a good day with 181. 183 and 209 The bowlers at Miller’s Mem Manor have challenged the senior citizens to a game on Mav 13 at the nursing home.
