IT COMES WITH IT There have been people move to our midwestern territory that say that we have no spring. We go right from bad weather to summer. This year certainly has to prove this theory wrong as the very pleasant temperatures and weather to date has let a lot of people enjoy “spring” through many factions. However, with the coming of spring one still has a lot of chance to see the results of winter. It is something that just comes with the changing of seasons even though the winter this year was rather mild without a lot of snowfall. But nevertheless, the dirt and trash that accumulates during the winter months is always noticeable in the springtime. Add to that the fact we haven’t had the normal rains to aid in cleaning this spring. Springtime is a great time, but also a time for cleaning and getting rid of several months of various leftovers from winter. Anyone with any pride in their place can see this and can easily clean up the ravages of winter this year to add to the great weather by having a clean and attractive surroundings this year. Presidents Lincoln, Garfield and McKinley were slain. Candidate Robert Kennedy was killed. Governor George Wallace is crippled. In September 1975 alone. President Ford's life was threatened twice by assassins wielding handguns. Now President Reagan has been shot. Must we bury another President before Congress acts to pass an effective national handgun control law? Together we can make the Congress act now to control handguns. Join w ith us today. N. T.
