UREY MIDDLE SCHOOL RENOVATION PLANS The public meeting held on Tuesday, May 10, concerning the renovation plans for the Urey Middle School disclosed these facts and figures along with the timetable for coming actions: Renovations & Approx. Board to adopt resolution to proceed with sale of general obligation bonds. MARCH 23, 1981 — Date for advertisement plus posting in three public places. This begins the date for the new remonstrance period. Also, at this time, notice will have to be sent to the tax control board and notice for hearing to be held for appropriation of the funds. APRIL 7, 1981 — Hearing for the appropriation of the bond proceeds. APRIL 8, 1981 — Release construction documents to the contractors to begin preparation of bids. APRIL 22, 1981 — Last remonstrance date. APRIL 23, 1981 — Can advertise notice to bidders which has to appear two times within 10 days. MAY 4, 1981— Publish notice of sale of bonds. MAY 7, 1981 — Receive bids. MAY 11, 1981 — Second publishment of notice of sale of bonds. MAY 19, 1981 — Actual sale of general obligation bonds. At this time contracts could be awarded and signed so that work could begin.
