Richard Hesters, vice-chairman, presided at the business session in the absence of the president. Mrs. Alma Daube, assistant women’s leader, gave a report on the recent County Board meeting and announced the Victory Supper will be held on March 14. Mrs. Kaufman gave the devotions on "life Is What You Make It". Johnson 1 ownship will be guests of Union Township on March 17 for a cooperative supper at 6:30 p m C.S.T. Mr. and Mrs. John Cord attended the Young Farmers Convention three days at Indianapolis. Mr. Cord gave an interesting report on the conference. Bingo was played with prizes for everyone. The committee for the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dipert. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Eddinger and Mr. and Mrs. Elburt Place. NATIONAL POISON PREVENTION WEEK MARCH 15-21 National Poison Prevention Week, March 15-21, is the ideal time for persons to take the steps necessary to insure their homes are safe for infants and toddlers, says Dr. Greg Wilson, medical consultant for the Indiana Poison Center. ‘ T here are many things one can do to poison proof the home." Wilson said. APRIL I DEADLINE FOR ENROLLMENT IN 4-H The Liberty Township 4-H Advisory Board announced that April I is the deadline for enrollment cards to be turned in. Although many young people have turned in their cards, there are still some to be turned in. North Liberty Elementary and North Liberty High School as well as St. Patrick s School are accepting the enrollments. The enrollment fee is $2.00 this year.
