If you buy a new gas range with automatic pilotless ignition, you could realize an Energy Savings Payback (E.S.P.) in the operation of that range through the many years you use it. When buying a new home appliance today, there are two costs you should consider carefully: 1. The original cost 2. The lifetime cost of operation The original cost is important, but with the cost of all forms of energy increasing, it’s also important to shop for the appliance that will use less of your total energy dollars through the years. You should choose the appliance that will use the least energy. It will give you an Energy Savings Payback in terms of significant amounts of money saved... a substantial part of the original cost.
