After defeating New Prairie in the morning game, the Panthers came up short in a fine effort to defeat the undefeated champion LaVille Lancers The boss put in an all out effort to tie 1 a Ville in the first half, hut the size and strength of LaVille wore down the "th graders in the second half. Ihe day was marked by many outstanding individual performances. Jeff Ward scored 7 points in the first game and played his finest games of the season. Mike Rhmies played an excellent defensive game against LaVille star Pat Adkins, holding Adkins to 6 points less than hts average. Scott Halsex had 4 steals and numerous deflections in a fine effort. Troy Skiles tied his season high by scoring 6 jxiints against LaVille. Mike McDonald once again prosed hi - is the finest "th grade guard in the area b\ scoring 10 or more points in both games and leading the Panther offense. I he Panthers finished the season with a 6 win and 8 loss record.
