Falcons Keep NSC Record Clean With Win I he John Glenn Falcons rose to the invasion .it hand Fridas night as a short handed team due to illness was fielded for their name w ith Jimtow n's Jimmies. Ihe Fai cons came aw as with an easy 66-42 v k tors to keep their Northern State Conference slate dean with their fourth conference win while they arc b-5 overall With the loss the hapless Jimmies slipped to 1 11 this season as they certainly are down following a couple of great years with their outstanding star. Irm Neely, now gone bv graduation. It never was realh much in doubt With two full time guards, Mike Arnett and Zane Hathaway, and Jeff Tinkey. a swing man guard and forward out due to the flu. a shuffled lineup presented no problems for coach Jim Waller other than a lot of turnovers in a game that had its share of miscues. Ihe Falcons were prettv well balanced on offense and put a zone defense on the floor that was deny - ing the Jimmies much of an inside game and that team that has had more than its share of scoring problems all year wasn't about to break it open shooting from afar With this the Falcons moved to a com manding 20-9 lead after one period and by halftime had blown the game wide open doubling the score on the Jimmies 36-18 at the main intermission.
