HOLD APPLE PIE BAKING CONTEST I he Foods and Nutrition Class of North I iberty High School recently held their annual apple pic baking contest This was the eighth year for the contest, sponsored by Don Eberly. of Eberly Orchards. Five different kitchen groups competed enthusiastically to bake the best two-crust apple pie. The winning group included Holly Ball. Bryon Comegys. Kathy Dembinski and Laurie Martin The pic finishing in second place was baked by I ina Gouker. Cindy Jaworski. Trinna Renz. Chris Roe and Robin Reinhold. Mr. Eberly awarded apple stick pins to the winning girls and an apple tic clip to Bryon. Frizbees, imprinted with bright red apples, went to all 23 students.
