Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Chapman and family were Mrs. Kenneth Bergncr, Tammy and Philip, and Mrs. Mary Blough, of Fort Myers. Florida; Mr. and Mrs. lee Chapman; Mrs. Mildred Jackson, of South Bend; and Mrs. Bess Ferscrda. Mrs. Bergner and children and Mrs. Blough, of Florida, have been guests of Mrs. Mildred Jackson for a week. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barden and family, of Muskegon. Michigan; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Barden, of Elkhart; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Derand and family, of South Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Reed and Mr. and Mrs. John Reed, of Michigan City: were here to attend the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Barden on Saturday evening. Last Thursday evening Mrs. Bess Ferverda entertained the members of the Singles Club at dinner in her Roosevelt Road apartment. AH members were present except Mrs. Doris Shamer. Mrs. Vee Shogren. Koontz Lake, substituted for Mrs. Schamer. Following the very delicious and colorful meal the guests visited and placed bridge for a most enjoyable evening. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Barden and family, of Muskegon. Michigan, were Saturday overnight and Sundas guests of his mother. Mrs. Viola Barden Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton were in Lafayette last week where she attended the Tippecanoe County Homemakers Achievement night and Mr. Knowlton attended McCutcheon High School's open house. Mr. John Cecrlc spent a week of vacation here last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Cecrlc and on Sunday they had their Thanksgiving dinner due to the fact John would not be able to be here on Thursday. He bowled a 216 game and won the handicap game with a 259 Jim C onnelly came through again with a nice game of IK4 and 464 series Lucille Dipert won the ladies handicap game with a 217. Salls Barna had a l"l game and a 463 series. Honorable mention is given to Matt Dudy for a 153 game. Anne Labno with a 146 and Emily Grvb with a 150. A lot of respect goes out to the bowlers who are 80 and close to it Our hope is to be able to do the same either as a bowler or a spectator.
