ISM 4 in I iberts Township and had lived in the Hamilton Grose Home for 24 sears going there from North I ibertv Miss Steele was a piano teacher for mans sears having used a horse and buggs when she traveled to visit her students She later worked as a bookkeeper at the Silo Mfg Co.. in North I iberts. for 21 sears She is survived bs four nieces. Walkerton, after a 10-year illness She was born on November 8. 169*’, in Salyerville. Ky.. and had lived in the area for 40 years after coming form Kentucky. She mar ried Willard Howard in 192 b and he preceded her in death on April 2. 1953 In 1957 she married Charles Good, w ho survives

Mrs. Pauline Tackett, of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Mrs. Ruth Bailey and Mrs Maxine Howard, both of Phoenix. Arizona: a son. Ellis Howard, of Frankfort. Ohio; 14 grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; and Five sisters. Mrs. Hazel Weiler, Walkerton, Mrs. Mildred Had. Dayton. Ohio. Mrs. Filer Howard and Mrs. Nannie Howard, both of Salyersville. Kentucky. and Mrs. Opal Port, of North I ibertv. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the First Baptist Church. Walkerton, of which she was a member, with Rev. Edwin Shelly, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Howard Cemeterv. Salyersville. Kentucky. MRS. MARTHA A. BROWN Mrs. Martha A. Brown. Walkerton. passed away on Sundav morning. November 23. at 2:00 a.m. in Miller's Merrv Manor Nursing Home. Plymouth, after a five month illness. She resided in Walkerton for onlv six months coming from Wisconsin. Marion and Indianapolis. Her husband. Arthur I Brown, preceded her in death in 1956 along with a daughter. Mrs lane Alice Hipskind, Logansport. in 1965. Surviving is a son. Col. Arhtur I Brown. Wash ington.
