The wedding is being planned for November 28 in the Walkerton United Methodist Church. NAOMI FELLOWSHIP MEETS The Naomi Fellowship of the Walkerton United Methodist Church met at the home of Mary Bauer on Tuesday. October 21. with 10 members present. Pauline Knowlton, chairperson, opened the meeting by reading. "Prayer Changes Things". "Good Old Indiana" and "A Little Town". All repeated the Lord's Prayer. Doroths Knowlton had the devotions. She read the song of praise. 23rd Psalm, and "That's Me Without God", by David Whitaker. Matthew II verses 28 and 29. What is your picture of Jesus? She showed several pictures of Jesus and ended with a prayer. The lesson was given by Ethel Bierly. She read two prayers. One was an Indiana prayer and the other was from part of a letter from a missionary friend in St. Lucia, a former pupil of Miss Bierly, who told about the damage done by hurricane Allen in her community on the island. She also read an article from Norman Vincent Peale's book, "You Can Have God's Help With Daily Problems".
WRITERS WORKSHOP NEWS Duc to the time change this month in Starke County, the Writers Workshop will resume the 8:00 p.m. meeting hour. This is Marshall County time. The workshop still meets on the third Monday of every month, and any writer or potential writer will be welcomed. Criticism and help are offered to all who enjoy stringing words together. At the Monday meeting Pearl Serbius Craft, who writes travel articles, and has just returned from Paris, read her human interest story of the Chicago snowstorm of 196 7 which won an award from the Illinois Press Woman's Association. Anita Fenstermacher. a new addition to the group, read some of her really lovely poetry. Her poem "Jupiter" was written as part of a multi-media presentation by the Southhold Dancers at the Century Center. Other poems were "One Stormy Halloween" and "Shopping for Halloween" by Adelaide Stitils. "A Sticky Wicket" by Nadine Keiper and "Conference" by Leila Bare. Mrs. Bare also gave a report on a class in article writing which she had recently attended on the Ham-mond-Purdue Campus. Two articles. "Boy. Am I Lucky!" and
