GLENN GIRLS CONTINUE TO WIN IN VOLLEYBALL The John Glenn girls volleyball team won three more matches the past week, two of them Northern State Conference matches to re main indefeated in conference plas with a 5-0 record and to move to a 12-2 overall season record. Glenn Tops Lalumiere On Wednesday. October I. La Lumiere visited Glenn and the Lads Falcons won by scores of 15-6 and 15-1. Pam Aitken had a perfect 11 of 11 serves with Julie Cline having a 3.0 quality rating. Aitken led with 4 kills while Barb Peacock had 3 and a 75 percent accuracy rating. Tammy Tuttle was the best passer with a 3.0 rating. The Glenn B-Team won by scores of 15-1 and 15-5. Rita Schmidt was the best server and Tammy Miller the best passer. The LaLumiere varsity record slipped to 1-7 with this loss. North Liberty Falls North Liberty visited on Thursday evening and fell to the Glenn girlA by a 14-12 and 15-3 score Tammy Tuttle had a perfect 13 of 13 serving record with Pam Aitken a 3.0 quality rating. Barb Peacock and Aitken led in kills with 6 and 5 respectively. Cindy Shipley was the best passer with a 3.0 rating. The North Liberty record slipped to 5-5 with this loss while Glenn advanced to 11-2 and 4-0 in conference action. The North Liberty B-Team won over the Glenn reserves by scores of 15-8 and 16-14. For Glenn Mary Louderback was the best server and also the best passer. The Glenn girls slipped to 5-8 while North Liberty's B-Tcam moved to an 8-2 season mark. Triton Falls The Glenn girls moved their overall record to 12-2 and 5-0 in conference Tuesday with a victory over Triton. Glenn's varsity won by scores of 15-10. 6-15 and 15-8. Patti Farrar had a 15 for 15 serving score with Traci Florina a 2.5 accuracy rating. Florian also led in spiking with 6 kills while Farrar had the best passing rating at 2.75. Triton slipped to 4-6 overall and 1 -4 in conference play. The Glenn B-Team won their match of the season against eight losses as they topped Triton by scores of 15-10 and 15-8.
