Lori Jacob will hold a wood block workshop on October 21 at 7:00 p.m, in her home. Those members w ho have signed up for a particular workshop and are unable to attend it should call the hostess. Deadline for all bazaar items is November 19. Also Mrs. Baker requested that all bazaar committee members are to meet with her at her home on October 20 at 8:00 p.m. Chapter inspection was the main order of business at the Thursday evening meeting. Mrs. Judy Guild. Province 12 Officer, briefed the chapter on the requirements and the purpose of the Tri Kappa organization. Mrs. Guild stated that in her 20 years as a Tri Kappa
member that the more you as individual put into Tri Kappa the more I you get out of it. Lori Jacob, chapter president. ; presented Mrs. Guild with a gift i and thanked her for all her help. Margo Brems. cookbook chairman. announced that all cookbooks 1 have been sold. It was decided by members that more books would be ordered. More than 400 books have been sold in the past six weeks. Pam Edison briefed the members on plans to combine the k • annual style show and art show. The event will be held Mav 1 and 2 1 at the John Glenn High School. Local artists and craftsmen will be invited to show and sell their items. ' Art show committee members are ’ to meet at Mrs. Edison's home 1 October 9at 7:30 p.m. Ellen Mollenhauer. 4th of July 1 chairman, reported that the Walkerton 4th of July project members are meeting at the town hall the third Thursday of each month.
