NOTICE All parents ol children enrolled in special education programs in J F SSI are invited to attend a meeting on I uesdav. October 14. at TOO p m. at Lincoln Junior High School located at 220 N. Liberty Street. Plv mouth. The meeting is being conducted bv the Indiana Department of Public Instruction. Division of Special Education during their visitation to review all J I S S.E. special education programs. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the program review process and to provide an opportunity for parents to talk with the review team regarding various aspects of the special education progra m. The visitation team will be spending three davs interviewing teachers, administrators and other school personnel and reviewing records and policies and procedures related to the special education program. A questionnaire is being sent to randomly selected parents of children enrolled in special education. This course is designed for the administrator who is not a trained expert, but is using or thinking about using computer services. It provides the basic knowledge of the world of computers in laymen's terms. The course also provides an excellent introduction for those considering pursuing a career in data processing. Participants will become familiar with hardware, software, and special computer applications. A one-day. all dav Stress Skills Workshop is planned for Saturday. October 25 from 9.00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This program is based on the American Hospital Association program and gives simple tips and techniques which help everyone to live with stressful situations in a more positive manner and thus avoid "burn out".
