OBITUARIES EDWARD L. HAWK Edward L. Hawk. 82. of Route 5. Rochester, passed away at 9:25 a.m. on Monday. April 21. at his home ot an apparent heart attack He was born on August 30. 189'. in Marshall Counts to Franklin and Eldora Kinsex Hawk. He lived most of his life in Fulton Counts. He married Leona M Gibson on Februars 22. 1930. whosurxives. Surviving along ssith his wife are a daughter. Mrs. Michael (Terrs Lynn) Partridge, of Decatur. III.; two sons. Robert E.. of Leiters Ford and Donald E.. ot Walkerton and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandchild, two sisters and a brother. Sers ices were at 2:00 p.m. in the Foster and Good Funeral Home. Rochester, ssith Rev. John Shultz, officiating, on Wednesday. April 22. Burial was in Richland Center 1.0.0 F Cemetery. Lois Shcrland and Goldie Chapman, present. Pauline Knowlton, chairperson, opened the meeting by reading a poem. "April", and having all repeat the Lord’s Prayer. Alice Huhnke gave the devotions. She read "Slope of God’s Love" from the April issue of the Christian Herald. It was about women at Easter. The lesson was given by Marx Bauer. She read a story of the newspaper idea of writings, h was a comparison of the different gospels writing on the life, death and resurection of Jesus. It is like any newpaper writers on certain incidents. They all will be a little different hut get the same idea across to people. Future dates of meetings were announced.
