WELCOME SPRING WITH DESSERT The fresh fruit season and the promise of spring are reasons enough to prepare thic luscious dessert. Strawberry ( hantilly I arts have all the convenience of preparation that you’ll need — vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling and strawberry flavor gelatin — right from the cupboard. Top with a dollop of whipped topping and a slice of strawberry before serving. STRAWBERRY CHANTILLY TARTS 1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling 1 package (3 oz.) Jell-O strawberry flavor gelatin 2-1/2 cups water 1 container (4 oz.) Birds Eye Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping, thawed 12 commercial pastry shells in aluminum foil cups Combine pudding mix, gelatin and water in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil and is thickened and clear. Remove from heat and chill until slightly thickened Fold in whipped topping, blending well. Chill. Spoon into tart shells. Garnish with additional whipped topping and halved strawberries, if desired. Makes 12 tarts.

ASTHMA PROGRAM Ihe American Lung Association of North Central Indiana announces the Asthma Education Program for Parents to begin Tuesday. April 8. 1980 for five consecutive Tuesday evenings through Mas b. from 7:00 to 9 (X) p.m. at the Lung Association office. 319 South Main Street, South Bend. The focus of the program is educational and not medical. A registration fee of $5.00 payable the first night will he charged. Guest leaders for discussions, interaction and adult peer group participation will include area pediatricians. specialists and other health professionals.
