Mr. and Mrs. John Markle and daughter. Pat. of North Liberty, and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Howell, of South Bend, were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Howell, in South Bend. The occasion was to help celebrate the Markle's grandson's sixth birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pickavet, Sr. and daughter. Mrs. Jerry Hellinga. and children Adam and Tori, of LaPorte, left on January 31 for Zephyrhills. Florida, to attend the 50th anniversary of Verne and Doris Daniels on February 3, sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Daniel and children, in Florida. When the Daniels return to Decatur. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dipert will be serving as hosts for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club dinner Saturday evening. Gregg Smith was an overnight guest of his grandmother. Mrs Raymond Wolff, on Saturday night Mr. Charles Heim, of Carlsbad, C alifornia. is spending a week here among his sisters, Mrs. Everett Baker, of Walkerton; Mrs Ruth Bare, of North Liberty; Mrs. Florence Wiese and Mrs. Ethel Hilligos, of South Bend. He was called here last week due to the death of his brother. Clarence Hicm. of North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs William Dickson and family, and Mr. Joe Banky. of Glenview, Illinois, spent the week end at Koontz Lake with Mrs William Dickson. The birthdays of Bill Dickson and his wife Dorothv. and their son Dannv and Joe Banky were honored. Mrs. Leta Brown returned home from a visit in Taveras, Florida, with her mother.
