Mr. and Mrs. Pat McNorton, of Hanover. Illinois announce the birth of a babs girl born December t>. and has been named Stacy Ann. Mrs. McNorton was the former Brenda Hostetler. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gerber entertained as their Sundas dinner guest. Mrs Mars Duszynski. On Sundas afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Mike Corbett and sons had a surprise birthdas parts for Mr. Corbett’s mother. Mrs. Warren Corbett, of South Bend. Other guests to help celebrate were Mr Warren Corbett. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Knepp. Michele and Jason, of North Liberty; and Mrs. Corbett's father. Mr. Valentine Reinhold. of Monterey. Professor and Mrs. J. W. Sicer.

Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. William Nesbitt and daughter, Kasey, of ( armel. were here to spend the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jacob and family. Saturday Mr and Mrs. Wendall Jacob, of Angola, were also guests. Other guests for dinner on Saturday evening included Mr. Allen Smith and son, Glen Smith, and Mr and Mrs. Norman Merrick, of South Bend. Sunday dinner guests were the Nesbitts. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Mullet and Jeannie Fave O'Connor, of Koontz Lake. Sunday dinner was in celebration of Katie Jacob's birthday. Mr. Dallas Fitzgerald, of Glendale. Arizona, left on Tuesday after spending five days here with his mother. Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald. Mr. Dean Knowlton is a patient in the LaPortc Hospital. He was admitted on Friday. Bill Dickson was admitted to the Lal’orte Hospital on Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Dunn, of Goshen, were Sunday evening visitors with his mother. Mrs. Fayette Dunn.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mercer and family celebrated the birthdays of their twin sons. Bruce and Brian, on Sunday evening with a party. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ullery. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Fisher, of North Liberty. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mercer and Mr. and Mrs. James Mercer and sons, of LaPortc. Evening callers were Mrs. Jaik Rizek and Jeff. I he Southhold Dance Company, of South Bend, of which Miss Liz Fenstcrmai her. of Walkerton, is a member, gave a presentation of the "Nutcracker" on Saturday aftermxm and evening at the Morris Civic Auditorium. South Bend. Liz's grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. George Fenstermacher. of Upland, and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Owens, of Indianapolis, and her brother. Edward. who returned home from college. all attended the performance and enjoyed a visit with the Fenstermacher family. DINNER ENJOYED BY CLUB MEMBERS A delicious twelve o’clock pot luck dinner was enjoyed bv 19 members and one guest. Mrs. Emily Harlozinski. on Tuesday. December 4. at the Community Building, by the Lincoln Township Club. Mrs. Regina W'ells and Mrs. Mamie Hahn were the host esses. The dining room was decorated with lovely Christmas decorations. Following the dinner the business session was opened with sing-
ing of many Christmas carols. Ihe birthday song was sung to Mrs. Bertha Daube. Mrs. Nedra Smith. Mrs Mary Jane Beats and Mrs. Dorothv Knowlton. The Anniversary song was sung to Mrs. Mamie Hahn. Mrs 1 ela Ruby. Mrs. Patricia Cowgcr and Mrs. Wealths Burnside. Mrs. Beaty read a poem for the cultural arts. Door prizes were awarded and after the gift exchange the club prayer was repeated and it was decided to have cancer sewing next Wednesday . FIREMEN’S AUXILIARY ELECTS OFFICERS The Walkerton Voluntary Firemen's Auxiliary recently elected their new officers for 1980. They are Mrs. Mike Corbett, president; Mrs. Linder Pearish, vice-presi-dent; Mrs. Charles Baker, secre-tary-treasurer; and Mrs. John McGovern. chaplain. The next meeting of the Auxiliary will be on January 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the fire station. CHRISTMAS PARTY SET FOR TONIGHT The Johnson Township Farm Bureau ham supper and Christmas party will be held tonight. Thursday. December 13. at the club house beginning at 7:00 p.m.
