(Offer good until April 1,1 980 ) Marshmallow Elves 1 For head and body, fasten the flat sides of two Kraft marshmallows together with a toothpick 2 For arms and legs, thread two or three Kraft miniature marshmallows on each of four toothpicks Attach to body 3 For face features, add liny decorative candies, securing with Kraft marshmallow creme 4 For hat, make small cone from colored paper Use miniature marshmallows for tassel and brim, securing to head with toothpick Add muffler made from fabric scrap, if desired Garnish a ‘snowball'’ dessert with decorative elves • Ice cream scoops roiled in coconut • Popcorn balls rolled in coconut • Cupcakes frosted on all sides and rolled in coconut

Birthdays to be celebrated are those of Clara Thayer. Gus Ranschaert and Gus Schultz. Entertainment will be the Harmonicas. We thank the Koontz Lake Missionary (hurch and Rev. George for services on Dec. 3. Mr. Olson led the singing and Mrs. Glson played the piano. The Sun shine Singers, a group of about IS children, sang several Christmas songs verv enthusiastically . Our bazaar was held on Nov. 30 and Betty Ogle, chairman, seemed quite satisfied with the results. I hanks to all w ho cooperated. Manv afternoons have been spent on crafts to make articles to sell. Also one afternoon was spent making diabetic eixvkies for the bazaar We are sorts to report the loss of one of our residents. Marie MeGwin and our sympathy is extended to her family. New residents are Mary Yousim
and Tonv Bentley. W’e welcome them. FRESHMEN LOSE THIRD GAME TO LA VILLE I he .John Glenn freshmen were defeated by La Ville 41-34 The Falcons were led bv Gene Amor with 8 points on four of five field goals. Ed Segraves scored six points hitting three of four from the field and had three assists. Damon Knowlton had nine rebounds and hit one of two from the field and John Schmidt shot two of three and Fred Krick one of one from the field Mike Hamman was one of one from the free throw line. LaVille was led bv Graf, who scored I 1 points. LaVille's defense allowed Glenn only 12 points in the first half and forced 25 turnovers for the game. Glenn hit 42 per cent from the field while La Ville hit 3b percent. From the free throw line. La Ville shot 5b per cent while Glenn hit 4b per cents Both teams had 2b rebounds. 2 1/2 cups ground cooked turkey 1 cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped pimientos 1 /2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts 1 1 12 cups (1/4 pound) sliced mushrooms 1/4 cup dry sherry Melt 1/3 cup butter in medium saucepan. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually stir in liquid instant milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. -a pimientos, and walnuts in large mixing bowl. Line bottom of buttered 6 1/2-cup ring mold with wax paper. Spoon turkey mixture into mold. Place mold in pan about 2 inches deep. Pour hot water around mold to 1-inch deep. Bake in moderate oven (375° F.) 50 minutes. Cool 10 min utes. Cook mushrooms in remaining butter and sherry; stir into reserved sauce Heat to serving temperature Loosen edges of mold Invert mold onto platter. Serve with mushroom sauce MICROWAVE OVEN Prepare recipe as above, except microcook molded turkey mixture at high speed 20 minutes. Rotate 1/4 turn every 5 minutes. Complete recipe as above.
