Ihe Glenn reserves are now 4-5 and the O-D girls slipped to an even 5-5 record. MARQUETTE BREAKS GLENN WINNING STREAK FRIDAY Ihe John Glenn girls vollevball team, winners of six straight matches, traveled to Michigan City Marquette on Friday night and found the hosts snapping their win ning streak. Ihe Marquette girls won by scores of 15-9 and 15-8. Deb Miller was Glenn s best passer with a 2.25 average. Pam Aitken was the leading server with a 2.5 average, and Barb Peacock and Julie ( line led the sptkers with five and four kills respective!v. The loss dropped Glenn’s record to 6-4 while Marquette advanced theirs to a fine 8-2. Ihe junior varsity was also defeated as Michigan City dropped the Glenn girls bv identical socre of 15-2 and 15-2. The Glenn junior varsity record is now 4-6 while Marquette’s advanced to 7-3. GLENN VOLLYEBALL TEAM TOPS LA VILLE TUESDAY Ihe John Glenn girls volleyball team hosted the LaVille girls on I uesdav evening and won their second Northern State Conference match against a single loss. The varsitv topped La Ville bv scores of

15-9 and 15-5. For serving honors Jo Seagraves and Tammy Tuttle each had a 3.0 average while Pam Aitken had an accuracy total of 15 out of IS. In fact the entire team was perfect in serving on the court for the night with an amazing 44 out ot 44 total. Ihe best passer went to I raci Florian who had a 2.0 average and I raci Florian and Anne Huffstetter each had four kills to lead the spikers. Ihe Glenn varsitv is not 7-4 overall and I aV illc is now 4-4 tor the season. Ihe Glenn junior varsitv fell to the I aVille reserves bv scores ot 16-14. I 15 and 15-8. Ihe Glenn record is now 4- 7 while LaVille is even at 4-4.
