Marjorie Kronk. director-of nurses, presented each girl with a rose. Administrator. Mike Butler, discussed the training program and the importance of our Geriatric Aides. He also recognized another employee of Miller’s Merry Manor. Inc.. Marv JoGolubski. who recently was awarded her Activity Director’s certificate. We are very proud of all of these employees. Shamrocks Blast Falcons 50-7 In Saturday Contest On a bright sunny Saturday after noon, the North Liberty Shamrocks displayed some real power in romp mg to a 50-7 fixvtball victory over rival John Glenn High School on the Shamrocks’ field. The game was broken wide open in the second quarter as the Shamrocks used the big play as well as the sustained drives to roll to their fifth win in six tries this season and their third in Northern State Conference play against no defeats. The loss was the sixth straight for the falcons this season and they are 0 4 in conference action. I he Shamrocks were to put one more on the board before the first half was history as they again took possession after a Glenn punt and a three plav drive of 42 yards found Shreve breaking the final 37 for his third touchdown of the game and after Martin plowed over for two more points, it was 30-7, the way the first half ended. The second half found North Liberty continuing to dominate things as their offense for the day rolled up a huge 523 yards and they were not forced to punt the ball once in the game. They scored twice in the third period, Martin breaking a big one for 69 yards with Shreve carrying in the two extra points, and then a second big plav. a Coppens to Mark Vanderhagen pass that covered 45 yards for the score.
