SHAMROCKS THIRD, FALCONS FILTH IN NSC TRACK MEET The Northern State Conference track meet was won by Fairfield with a total of 11b points, edging the New Prairie Cougars who totaled lOb points. North Liberty finished third and Glenn fifth in the seven team meet. Both the Shamrocks and Falcons had two individual firsts, the Shamrocks getting wins by Mike Fair in the discus and Bruce Griffey in the 440 while Terry Anspaugh grabbed two firsts for the Falcons, a record breaking 4:28.3 in the mile run and he also won the long jump.
