Main, North Liberty, who passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, January 26, in Memorial Hospital. South Bend, after a lengthy illness, were held at 11:00 a m. on Monday. January 29. in the First Brethren Church, North Liberty. Rev. Philip Hershberger, pastor, officiated. Burial followed in Eastlawn Cemetery. North Lib erty. She was born on June 24, 1898, in Liberty Township and lived all her life in this area. She was retired from Wells Aluminum Corporation in 1963. She is survived by her husband, Harry W.; two sons. Durwood H., of North Liberty, and Edgar D., of Tombstone, Arizona; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister. Mrs. Gertrude Sheneman, of North Liberty; and two brothers. John Bickel, of North Liberty and Dewey Bickel, of New Carlisle. She was a lifetime member of the First Brethren Church and a member of the Women’s Missionary Society. Memorials may be made to the memorial fun of the First Brethren Church or to the American Cancer Society. PEARL LOUISE HAZELBAKER Mrs. Pearl Louise Hazelbaker, 86, died at Tuesday afternoon, January 30. She had been a resident of Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton. Friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton, where services will be held, A complete obituary will be published in next week’s issue.
