Fairfield Girls Hand J.G. Girls Conference Loss The Fairfield girls basketball team handed the John Glenn girls their first loss of the season last week and a big loss it was as it was a Northern State Conference game. The Elkhart County crew used some good shooting to walk away with a 4b-34 win, leaving the Glenn girls at 3-1 for the season while the winners evened their mark at 2-2. To Begin January 8 The second semester of adult education at John Glenn High School will start on January Bth. There w ill be a general meeting for all interested adults in room 105 at 7:00 p.m. to organize and plan what classes will be offered the second semester. The state regulations require a minimum of ten students per class that have not graduated from high school and not presently enrolled in day school. Courses to be offered, if enough interest is shown, will be English. Government, typing, office machines, accounting, mathematics and (J. S. history as credit classes. Adult recreation w ill be offered as a non credit class. Anyone with questions, should contact Alvin C. Boise. Director of Adult Education at John Glenn High School, phone 586-3195. SBCSC Holiday Tourney Tickets Now On Sale The South Bend Community School Corporation Holiday Tourney season tickets arc now on sale at North Liberty High School with the price of $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students being charged. Single session tickets will be on sale at the door the day or night of the games for $2.00. SENIOR BOWLERS HIT NEW HIGHS The senior citizen bowlers were “hot” on Wednesday, December 6. Vische had a 240 game and a 536 scries. How about that? Chuck Joyce had a 201 game. That's not bad either. Dick Dipert had a 198 game. Stan Labno had a 190 with a 524 series. Honorable mention goes to Tony Safar and Gcrogc Barna with a 172 game. Ralph Persinger, who was helping Chuck with his game, also had 222 high game.
