Walkerton, who died at 9:20 a m. on Friday at Miller s Merry Manor. Walkerton, after an extended illness. at the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home. Rev. William E. Hughes, pastor of the United Methodist Church. Walkerton, officiated. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Walkerton. She was born on April 11. 1892. and had lived most of her life in the Walkerton area. She married Earl Mackin on April 11. 1913. in South Bend, who preceded her in death on February 25. 1948. FLOSSIE FINLEY Mrs. Flossie Ann Finley. 85, of Koontz Lake, died at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday. November 30. She was born on February 9. 1893. in LaPaz. On January 24, 1910, she married John Finley in Michigan City, who preceded her in death in 1961. Surviving are three sons. John, of Auburn. MISS ALICE ZMUDZINSKI Miss Alice Zmudzinski. 60, of Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Devember 30, after a brief illness. She was born on April 22, 1918 in South Bend and had lived there ail her life before coming to the nursing home some years ago. She is survived by three sisters and brothers, all of South Bend. Funeral services were at 9:00 a.m. Monday at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. South Bend, with Rev. Eugene Kazmiercz.ak. pastor, officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery. South Bend. ALBERT C. SCHRADER Albert C. Schrader. 84. of North Liberty, died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday at the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, after a brief illness. He was born on August 8. 1894 in North Liberty and had lived here all his life. He is a retired farmer. His wife. Leona F. Schrader. died in 1954. Surviving are a daughter. Mrs. Mary Schang, of Leesburg; two sons. Wayne, of Lakeville, and Claude, of Ormond Beach. Florida; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. North Liberty, officiating. Burial was in Sumption Prairie Cemetery. LOUIS MENDOZA Word was received of the death of Army Pfc. Louis Mendoza, 18. formerly of North Liberty. Pfc Mendoza and a companion in an auto were killed outside of Tulsa. Oklahoma, enroute to this area to visit relatives. The auto in which they were in was parked and struck from behind by a tractor-trailer truck. Funeral services were held Thursday. November 30, in San Francisco. California with burial in

the San Francisco National Cemetery. Presidio. California. He is survived by his father. Eugene, his stepmother. Rita, both of San Francisco;three brothers and three sisters; two stepbrothers and two stepsisters; and his grandparents; plus several relatives in the South Bend and Mishawaka areas. ROBERT YOUNG Robert Young, 3-year-old foster son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Renz, of 115 South Main Street. North Liberty, died at 4:30 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. South Bend, of natural causes. He was born on March 15, 1975 and was previously hospitalized in Riley Children's Hospital. Indianapolis. Surviving along with his parents are four sisters, Michelle, Trenna, Theresa and Debra, all at home; and three brothers. Roger, at home, and Brian and Eric, of North Liberty. Services will be held at 11:00 a m. Thursday at the Crumstown Apostolic Church, Crumstown. Indiana. with Rev. Charles Ferguson, pastor, officiating. THE SENIOR’S BOWLING INCREASING Senior Citizens had 22 bowlers and five spectators on Wednesday. November 29 at the Pizza Bowl Lanes. Walkerton. We want to welcome Emily and Stan Gryb to the group. After six years away from bowling Emily beat our four men by getting a 186 game. That's one fix the ladies. Stan hadn't bowled in 16 years and came up with a 172 game for his first game. Wonder what he will 1 be bowling after a few weeks? Stan Labno had a 475 series with a 181 game and Chuck Joyce had a 1 474 series with a 181 game. Honorable mention goes to HeL * en Bowman with a 175 game and 1 Eleanor Knight with a 171 game. Won't you join us? We have lots of fun. ENJOY VISIT TO ARIZONA Emil Schultz. Mr. and Mrs. 1 Robert Schutlz, of South Bend, and Mr and Mrs. Robert Mattocks, of Walkerton, spent two weeks in Tucson. Arizona. They traveled by mini-home which belongs to the Robert Schultzes. They saw beau tiful scenery. Mr. Emil Schultz is staying in Tucson for the winter months. On Thanksgiving Day there were in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Schultz and family. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schultz. Walkerton, who are spending the winter there; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schultz, Mr. Danny Schultz and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Schultz and family and Mrs. Schutlz'a mother, brother and family. A send off dinner was held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Schultz with the same people present.
