North Liberty Freshmen Win First Two Games The North Liberty freshman opened the season with two wins. On Thursday, November 16. they defeated Culver 50-39. After a slow and ragged start. Ryan Mcßride came off the bench to spark and steady the Shamrocks in the second and third quarters when they outscored Culver by a 37-18 margin. Dave Dubzinski. Pat 1 ranklin and Dan Nickles led the rebounding and scoring w ith 14. 13 and 9 points. On Tuesday. November 22. the North Liberty freshmen barely squeaked by John Glenn 40-32. Glenn has two freshmen playing B” team. Dave Dubzinski had 13 and John Holmes 8 to lead the I iberty scoring Doug Miller, with 11. and Joe Harness, with 10. led the Glenn scoring The ball handling wasn’t too sharp in this game. The next game will be at home against Oregon-Davis Wednesday, ***************
