In 195 K, Dr. Crambert started his federal career as management intern in the Department of Labor and became a research psychologist with that department before transferring to HEW's Office of Education in 1969. Then in 19’1 he became the Region 111 Director of Education Research and in 19’3 was appointed Assistant Regional ( ommissioner of Education, a position he has held until presently. Dr. Crambert was graduated from Wabash College in 195’ and then earned a master of science degree in psychology at Purdue I Diversity the following vear. He was awarded the Ph. D. degree m education from the University of Marv land in 19’4. Dr. ( rambert is married to the former Frances Allen Wilson and has two daughters, Anna. 15 and Rebecca. 13 and is the son of Mrs. John ( rambert. Walkerton.
