annual message from a ministerial couple, the Reverends Charles anil Janet Maxwell-Harris. Charles and Janet serve the two-point United Methodist charge of labor and Maple Grove Churches in the South Bend District. They are students at Garrett-Evangelical Seminars in Evanston. Illinois, and are ordained Deacons in the United Methixiist Church. People attending the service will be welcomed by host pastor. Rev. Gaylord Saltzgaber. Rev. William Burgess, of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren, will lead in the Ihanksgiving Prayer and Rev.
Charles Richmond, of the North Liberty Church of Christ, will lead the Litany of Ihanksgiving. Rev. George Bennett, of Sumption Prairie and Monson Chapel United Methodist Churches, will give the Offertory Sentence and the Benediction. Continuing another tradition, the offering will again be given to CROP. Lhe Chancel Choir of the North Liberty United Methodist Church will provide several seasonal anthems, under the direction of Mrs. Gary Nelson. Mrs. Glen Shupert will be organist and Mrs. I vie McCormick the pianist. Mr Gary Nelson will organize and direct the crew of greeters and ushers. All area people are cordially invited to attend this appropriate Thanksgiving Eve service. Oregon-Davis “Thanks” Tutors In an age where people supposedly resist getting “involved.” the Oregon-Davis School community is very proud of the continued support of parent volunteers who se[ve as tutors for chilldrcn.
