She hopes to attend Indiana State University and pursue a career in sociologyafter she graduates from high schixil. Chris has been a junior varsity cheerleader for two years and is now a varsity cheerleader for the second year. She is also a member of the Pep Club block. Letter Femine and is District president of the F.H.A. She has won outstanding achievements in English and has been a member of the Drama Club. Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Bat Girl. Yearbook staff and the gymnastics team. She has also been chosen for Who’s Who Among American High School Students. Among her favorites she enjoys sewing, macrame, running. dancing and crafts. Er? ' LISA FORESMAN petition. Janet Knowlton is the 17 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Knowlton, of North Liberty. She is five foot and four inches tall, has light brown hair and blue-green eves. She is a senior at North Liberty High Schixil where she enjoys math as her favorite subject. Janet is a member of the National Honor Society; she is a varsity cheerleader and on the girls basketball team as well as the tennis team. She belongs to the Foreign Language Club, Pep Club. Mixed Chorus and Girls Chorus. Janet has also been a candidate for the D.A.R. History Award and the Scholastic Award. She enjoys cixiking. needlepoint, swimming reading and watching sporting events. She is a member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship and has been a member of 4 H for four years. She won the County Championship m fourth year hxxis at the 4 H Fair. Janet will entertain vou with a 50’s Pom Pon routine to the theme from “Happv Days.” Miss Lisa Foresman is five foot and five inches tall with blonde hair and blue eves. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Foresman. of North Liberty . A senior at North Liberty High School, Lisa likes English. Chorus and Acting but after graduation she hopes to at tend Patricia Stevens Finishing School. She hopes to pursue a career as an airline stewardess, to meet people and see the world. Lisa is the preisdent of the Pom Pon team and the Chorus Class. She has performed in three school musicals and has had the solo parts in all three. Among Lisa’s accomplishments is an award for singing, it was in the NISBOVA Contest at John Adams High School. In her spare time Lisa likes fishing, singing, dancing, playing baseball and reading mystery stories. She attends the Seventh Day Adventis Church. Lisa will be singing for vou. “1 Am A Woman” by Helen Reddey. Miss Foresman is presently a cashier at the Community IGA Supermarket. Sorth Liberty. She has been a Page for the House of Representatives. Maria has been dancing for 12 years, in her spare time she practices tap. ballet, jazz, hall nxim and disco. She works for Danna and Jerry Flint at the Flint Dance Studio. Maria has chosen tap dancing for her talent presentation. Miss Anita Ecker is five fixg and eight inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Ecker, of Walkerton. She has two older brothers Anita plans to attend Purdue University after graduation and study computer programming At John Glenn High Schixvl her activities are volleyball, art club. Honor Band. Pep Band. Sunshine Stxictv. tennis, pom pons and pep club. Anita is a member of the National Honor Society and was first alternate for Girls State and she was a Page for the House of Representatives. She has received several awards for flute solos and ensembles as well as marching band. Her art presentations have won awards from Iri Kappa and Robertson’s Art Shows and a State Fair blue ribbon Miss Ecker is a member of the Blissv ilie Church of the Brethren and a 4 H Leader. Anita will play the flute to “( olor My World.” her taped background accompaniment is Anita again playing the piano. The paintings arc also done by Miss Ecker for her stage presentation during the talent portion of the pageant. She is presently employed as a waitress at the Hi Dc-Ho Restaurant.
