Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Randolph and family, of Goshen, were Saturday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gardner. Mr. Matthew. Kickbush came home Friday from the Panama on leave until December 8 from the U. S. Army, where he has been for 2' j years. He is in the Vehicle Mechanics Corps and from here he will be stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. One of his buddies came along with Matthew to stay for a few days visit. He is Kurt Janrus. from the state of Washington and he will be going to Fort Knox, Kentucky for further training. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Kaufman, of Fish Lake, and Mrs. Esther Kaufman went to Lake Station Sunday for a birthday dinner honoring Mrs. Kaufman's daughter, Mrs. Carol Lee Epperson. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moravek. of Koontz Lake, will be hosts for the Conservation Club carry-in dinner Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs Thomas Jerome, of Griffith. Indiana, spent the week end here with her father. Mr. George Pfeiffer. Mr. and Mrs. Larry McDaniel and daughter, Michelle, of Carmel.

Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. David Solmos and family, of Indianapolis; and Mr. Pat Solmos. of South Bend, were here over the week end visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Solmos and other relatives and friends here and at North l iberty and South Bend. Mrs. Fayette Dunn came home Monday afternoon after being in Fort Wayne over the week end with her nephew. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Holland. Mrs. Lucile Ward also spent the week end with her cousin. Mildred Bowman. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Kronk. Walkerton. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Kronk and family. North Liberty, and Mr. Clyde Kronk. of Dade City. Florida, spent last week camping in the Smokey Mountains enjoying the beautiful colors and weather. Mr. and Mrs lorn Fair and Lisa, of Lakeville, also visited with them while they were vaca tioning there. Mr. Bud Newcomb, of North Liberty, and Mr. Jolly Back, of Walkerton, were in Manistee. Michigan last week deer hunting. Ihe weather was fine and they enjoyed the week relaxing but couldn’t find any deer. Mrs. Bertha Schmeltz and Mrs. Nora Hahn were in Fort Wayne last week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kolmer. Mrs. Henry Kaiser, of Three Oaks. Michigan, Mrs. David Clark and daughter, Veronica. Mrs. Marvin Baker.
