Teresa Ann Kissinger and Mark Alan Smith were united in marriage during a 2:00 p.m. ceremony in the C hurch of the Brethren. Plymouth. on Saturday. September 23 with Rev. James Gilmer. Teegarden. officiating. Nuptial music was provided bv Rev. and Mrs. James Gilmer. Teegarden. Rev. Gilmer sang. "The Wedding Pravcr." Other selections played while the couple lit the unite candle were the theme from "Love Story” and "One Hand One Heart.” The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold futile. Walkerton. and Mr. Edward Erickson, Rochester. The groom is the son ot Mr and Mrs. Ben Smith. Walkerton. The bride walked alone down the aisle and was meet half-wax bv the groom and she chose a traditional gown ot Chantilly-tv pe lace featuring a sweetheart neckline and a fitted bodice touched with irides- 1 cent sequins. Ihe long sleeves , ended with ruffled cutts of the I same lace Tiers of Chantlly lace ruffles formed the bouffant skirt and the chapel length train. A cap I of lace and pearls held the lace edged fingertip veil. Maid of honor for her sister was Tracv Kissinger. Walkerton. Bridesmaids were Nancv Peterson and Robin Davis, both of Walkerton. Junior bridesmaid was Janine luttle. sister of the bride. Walkerton, and flower girls was LaDonna Pate. Bristol, cousin of the bride. The attendants were in powder blue knit with old fashioned lace strips, spaghetti straps and ruffled capes were worn over the shoulders. Ihev carried silk carnations. roses and baby's breath with pink streamers. Robert Hockett. Walkerton, served as best man Groomsmen were Dan Smith and Ben Smith, of South Be nd, brothers of the groom, and Donnv Smith, cousin of the groom, Walkerton The ushers were Jon Erickson. an uncle of the bride. and rose corsage. A reception was held for 150 guests in the church basement. Ihe bride’s chosen colors of blue and white were shown in the streamers, bells and white lace tablecloths. A honevmoon trip to Clifty Falls State Park. Madison, and Brown County. was taken. I he couple are both graduates of John Gelnn High School. Walkerton. Ihe groom is now attending Ivv lech. Starke County won the gavel for another year. Next year the meeting will be in Starke County. The meeting adjourned followed bv the silent auction, buyers getting their purchases.
