How you \ can have I - z (ENERGY SAVINGS PAYBACK) on a new GAS WATER HEATER

If you buy a new gas water heater designed to use less fuel, you could realize an Energy Savings Payback (E S P) in the operation of that water heater through the years you use it. Today when you buy a new home appliance, you must consider two costs: 1 The original cost 2 The lifetime cost of operation The original cost is important, but with the cost of all forms of energy increasing, it's also important to “shop” for the appliance that will > use less of your energy dollars through the years you operate that 1 appliance You should choose the appliance that will use the least energy It will give you an Energy Savings Payback in terms of significant amounts of money saved ... a substantial part of the original cost. EXAMPLES ESTIMATEDLIFE CYCLE~~ ENERGY SAVINGS PAYBACK New Energy Saving Gas Water Heater $144 90 (Compared with standard gas water heater) New Energy Saving Gas Dryer $lO7 64 (Compared with standard gas dryer) New Energy Saving Gas Range $lO3 50 (Compared with standard gas range) Actually, the ESP could be much higher in certain cases. Gas Company representatives and appliance dealers will welcome the opportunity to explain E S P as it might apply to your home appliances E S P is something to think about It's another reason to replace your old ones with new energy saving gas appliances
