Ghostly Writings At Workshop Ghosts were walking at the Writers Workshop Tuesday evening in spite of the fact that Halloween is still almost a month away. But all were gentle ghosts of the Casper type! Ed Morasek told of a quarrelsome duo of voices that never showed themselves in his “Assignment Ghosts'. Colored lights served to denote their presence in " Ihe House on Holloway Street" by Adelaide Stitils, but "The Hai loween Spirit" was very definately a person in Nadine Keiper s version of ghosties and goblins and things that go bump in the night The group met for their regular monthly workshop at the Koontz
Lake Library. The evening’s project was to describe an emotion, and. as always, it produced some surprises, particularly Annie Garrison's essay on "Surprise". The workshop will be held on the second Tuesday of November instead of the regular first Tuesday because of election day falling on the 7th. November 14 is the date of the next meeting. It will be at the library at 8 o'clock. The assignment is "Elections" or "Election Day" and comments, poems or short stories on that subject will be accepted. New members are asked to bring something they have written, if not the assignment. All writers are welcome as guests or members. WPLJ Ambulance Board Meets The Ambulance Board of the Walkerton. Polk.
