Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bolzc arc now at home on Route 5. Walkerton. following their August 26 wedding at the Tracy United Methodist Church, Hamlet. I’hc bride is the former Miss Donna Fern Robison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Robison. Walkerton, and Mr. and Mrs. ( harles Bolzc, Route 3, Walkerton, are the parents of the groom. Ihe Rev. Fred Pflugh officiated at the double-ring ceremony at 6:30 p.m. White silk carnations centered on velvet ferns with white ribbons marked the aisle pews. Gladiola arrangements decorated the altar which were made by the bride's grandmother. Mrs. Jessie Herbst, who also made the bouquets. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was wearing a gown designed and made by the bride’s mother. The gown was made of satin and lace featuring a fitted bodice with flared skirt that rounded down into a train that was busseled for the reception. Lace roses outlined the V-neckline and bottom of the skirt and the long organdy sleeves were trimmed in lace. Her veil headpiece was made from the lace of her mother's wedding dress and trimmed with pearls and rose lace outlined the bottom and sides of the veil which was designed and made by her grandmother. She carried a bouquet of white silk roses and carnations with pink silk rose buds in (he center with velvet fern leaves and sweet peas sprinkled through the bouquet. She wore a family heirloom necklace, a peridot teardrop. Miss Sara Robison, the bride's sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were also her sisters, Becky, I isa and Laura Robison. They wore dresses designed and made By their mother in pastel colors. I he honor attendant's gown was of blue and the bridesmaids' were in pink, green and yellow. They wore ''ilk roses in their hair and carried r, -d silk rose buds and small white s ’lk flowers with fern leaves and rainbow ribbons. Best man was Kenneth Bolze. brother of the groom. Groomsmen were his two brothers. David and himes Bolze. all of Walkerton, and Allan Eddinger, Walkerton. They wore pastel shirts to match the colors of the bridesmaids and white 'uxedos. The flower girl, cousin of the bride. Karen Herbst, wore the same style dress as the bridesmaids only in lavender and she carried a basket of silk flowers.

She also wore a lavender flower in her hair. Ring bearer was Shawn Eddinger and he wore a white

The newlyweds went on their honeymoon to Cincinnati to King’s Island and then continued on from there to the Smokey Mountains for a few days. GLENN GIRLS TOP OREGON-DAVIS IN VOLLEYBALL Despite being shutout 15-0 in the second of the three games, the John Glenn girls volleyball team battled back to win a match over the Oregon-Davis girls on Thursday evening. Glenn won by scores of 16-14, 0-15 and 15-4 to raise their varsity record to 3-6 while the ( re-gon-Davis team leveled off at >5. For Glenn Marv Huffstetter had a 2.5 serving average and Barb Mann a 3.0 passing average. Three girls. Mann. Pam Aitken and Tammy Tuttle each had three kills. The Glenn B-Team made the night a sweep with 15-9 and 15-9 victories over the O-D girls. This boosted the Glenn B-Team record to 4-5 while Oregon-Davis slipped to 3-7. No birds now on earth have teeth.
