They came to attend the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Anderson as ' Mrs. Schroder was a bridesmaid at their wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Burch and Mrs. Elizabeth Michalski will serve as hosts for this Saturday evening carrv-in dinner of the Koontz Lake Conservation Club at the club house. Tina and Anita also visited their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Dipert. Mr. Riebe injured a finger while repairing a garage door at Mrs. Bennett’s and had to have part of a finger amputated. panee, were Thursday dinner guests of Mrs. Alta Bowers. On Tuesday of last week members of the Ward family had a gettogether at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rensberger. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Albright, of Ellenton. Fla.; Mrs. Jo Bogol, North Liberty; Mrs. Earl Ward. Walkerton; Mr. and Mrs. Alva Ward. Leiters Lord; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Shupert. North Liberty; Mr. Clifford Ward. Walkerton; and Mr. and Mrs. Vern Betz, Mesa. Arizona. This was the first time the family has all been together at one time since the death of their father. Mr. David Rensberger and son were afternoon visitors. Mrs. Ed DeVos. Koontz Lake, is a medical patient in the South Bend Osteopathic Hospital. On Tuesday, August 8, a delicious luncheon and garden party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Dim for their neighbors and neighbors house guests. Mr. and Mrs. Perrin Hazelton, of Lancaster. Ohio, were guests of Rev. and Mrs. Robert Bowman at their Koontz Lake home for four days last week. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Keck were their daughter, Mrs. Terry Long, and grandsons, David and Neil, of Plainfield. After they return to Plainfield they will be moving to Silver Springs. Maryland, where Ronald Long will be starting his internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Bethesda Naval Hospital. Bethesda. Md. Dr. Long recently graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, and will receive his PhD in pharmacology from Indiana University, Bloomington. this month. Saturdav noon they met with Dick and Anita Ban dendistel and their grandson, Jason, at Fish Lake. They all enjoyed picking blueberries south of Michigan City and then ate supper in LaPorte. Mr. David Zumbaugh, of Teegarden. is a patient in St. Joseph I Hospital. South Bend, following an automobile accident last week and he is listed in serious condition. Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Pavey returned home this past week end from a trip which he qualified for through the State Farm Insurance Company. They went to Geneva and Zurich. Switzerland, and also to France, Italy, Austri and Germany. They were gone two weeks and they enjoyed Geneva the most. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Sehappert, Grays Lake. Illinois, spent the week end at Koontz Lake with their parents. Mr. and Mrs.. Archie Brehm.
