Friends are invited to an open house honoring the 40th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Anderson, of Koontz Lake, at the American Legion Post 189, Walkerton, on Saturday. August 12 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Mr. Anderson and the former Alyse Gjemre were married at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Donaldson on September 25. 1938, by the Rev. J. A. Palm. Hosting the event are their three daughters and their families. Mrs. Larry (Dana) Cunningham, of York. Pa.; Mrs. Ron (Janet) Kond rat. of Racine, Wis.; and Mrs. Guy (Alyson) Minix, of LaPorte, and their seven grandchildren. 50th Anniversary To Be Celebrted Saturday, Aug. 5 Mr. and Mrs Harold E. Snyder will be honored for their 50th , wedding anniversary at an open house from 2:(X) to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5. Ihe open house will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 2045 South Arlington, Indianapolis, which is the pastorate of their daughter and son m law, Rev and Mrs. Ross (Dons) Vandme. Ihe event is open to friends and relatives. Ihe couple requests no gifts. Ihe Snyders were married on December 8, 1928 in Pls mouth by I the Re\ J F Appleman. Mrs.
Snyder is the former Helen Maric Kaser. They resided in North Liberty. Indiana until 1973 when they moved to their present home which is now in Sebring. Florida. Mr. Snyder was a farmer in St. Joseph County for 33 years and also worked at the Bendix Corp, from 1929 1942. Mrs. Snyder has been a homemaker and a helpmate for her husband during these years. Ihe Snyder were members of Star Wesleyan C hurch, North Liberty, for 30 years. They were members of Community Baptist ( hurch. South Bend, before moving to Sebring. They are now members of the Southside Baptist Church in Sebring. They have both been very active church work. They are parents of Mrs. Ross (Doris) Vandinc of Indianapolis; Mrs. Floyd (Phyllis) Reed of Sebring; William Snyder of Manon, Indiana; Mrs. Terry (Jovce) Clark. Muncie; and Howard Snyder, Sc bring. Florida They have 15 grandchildren an I four great-grandchildren. ANNUAL REUNION SET The 70th annual Bradley Reunion will be held at Centennial Park, Plymouth. Indiana, on August 13. Handel composed “The Messiah" in 25 days.
