Things are happening at the RN Nursing Home. No need to just sit and wait for Father Time to catch up with us. After a good breakfast and a little time to let it settle, we have exercises. Not just the plain ordinary calisthenics type. Wc like to clap our hands, sing, and even stomp our feet now and then. What’s nice about this is our exercises are becoming contagious. Everyone is catching the bug and can do something to join in. Crafts arc another favorite. Wc have had some pretty big projects this summer. Weeks of work went into our float that w on a blue ribbon in the 4th of July parade at North Liberty. Wc called it "Revival" and it did just that for us. Now we arc working on hand made items for Potato Creek Days. However, the biggest interest and best attended gathering is our Wednesdax afternoon Bible Study. We sing hymns, "pray one for the other", and study the Word of God. Wc enjoy learning more about the Lord and the Christian fellow ship is really good. We are aware that a nursing home is not "home" But. the next best thing is a place where people care for each other and are involved in doing things together. We're glad things are happening at the RN Nursing Home.
