Mrs. Laura Grotenstein and two children, of Coronado, California, arrived last week for a visit with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Divine and other relatives. Mr. Grotenstein will be joining his family here on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Groves. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Steinke and Mr. Virgil Lidgard were dinner guests one evening last week of Mr. and Mrs. Clcll Fouts. On Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Robert Roush, of Indianapolis, were guests of the Fouts. Mr. and Mrs. John Vandall and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Anderson, Jr., recently enjoyed a motorcycle trip to Opera Land. Nashville. Tennessee. and they toured the Smokey Mountain National Park. Jane, and his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Clell Fouts. Mrs. Georgia Stillson entertained at Sunday dinner for Mrs. Florence Morris and Mrs. W. C. Wisenbaugh and Genevieve. Mr. Kevin Anderson. Mark and Slusher Ferch, of Hamlet, and Becky Hoycus. of Cedar Lake, w ere in Chicago on Sunday to see the Cubs doubleheader ball game. Mrs. Arthur DeMyer spent three days in Chicago last week as the guest of Mrs. Carl Schober. Miss Karen Eddinger is spending this week at Camp Geneva Center, north of Rochester. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hassman, of Scranton. Pennsylvania, spent a week here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Newell, at Koontz Lake. While there they visited the Country Music Festival. Week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Brehm, Koontz Lake, were Mrs. Catherine Rayburn, of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Francis Ravburn and two children, of Sunnymead, California; and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy, of Chicago. Rev. Shelly, pastor of the local Baptist Church, was a surgical patient in the LaPorte Hospital last week and is making a rapid recovery. Week end visitors were Mrs. Shelly's parents. Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Reighard, of St. Louis. Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Gwinn Barnett, of Memphis. Tennessee, and daughter Lyticia, were here over the week end visiting with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kercheart. Other guests on Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith and family. of Mentone. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Webster. Koontz Lake, will be hosts for the Saturday evening dinner of the Koontz Lake Conservation Club. The business meeting that was to have been last week will be this Friday evening at the club house.
