Edna Rupel Mrs. Edna Rupel, 99, of 6'016 Tamarack Road. North Liberty, died Tuesday, July 18 at Miller's Merry Manor, Plymouth, after an illness of several months. She was born July 3, 18'9 in Lakeville and had lived in the North Liberty area for 80 years. She married David Arthur Rupel on June 25, 1902, in Lakeville. He preceded her in death in 1932. Survivors include a son. Wilbur, of North Liberty. Services will be Thursday, July 20. at 1:00 p.m. in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty. Rev. Wilham Burgess, pastor of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, North I iberty Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m Wednesday. Ambulance Board Sets 1979 Budget I he Ambulance Board of Walkerton. Polk. Lincoln. Johnshon Township Ambulance Service met in regular session on July 11 with William T. Elkin, Kathryn S. Tiede, 1 loyd Stephenson. Dean Anderson. Clark Dare. Judy Mer cer. Mike Amor and Larry Dill present. Several matters of business were handled before the budget for the year of 1979 was approved and adopted. The problem of the schooling fees for Glen Sheaks and Larry Dill were solved. The Town Board of Walkerton had refused to pav Sheaks' and half of Dill's fees and on a motion by Amor, seconded by Anderson, the Ambulance Board agreed to pav the balance of these fees. An amendment to the original contract of the WPLJ Ambulance Service was read and accepted. A resolution was adopted to ap
