Family Renewal Week Begins U ** » » £■ 66 a w rW Participating in the Walkerton Presbyterian Church's Family Renewal Week will be Joe Lowry, Joan Larsen, Lois Larsen (director), Lois Ross and Pastor David Barnett.

Family Renewal Week begins at the Walkerton Presbyterian Church next Monday evening. Activities are planned for the entire family with Vacation Bible School using the theme “Hossana" for children from toddlers through junior high and classes in family living and understanding emotions for senior highers and adults. Registration is open through Sunday, June 4, and classes will be held from June 5 -9. To cover the cost of materials each family registering is asked to pay $5.00 or each individual pays $2.00. Family Renewal Week is open to all children and adults in the community. To register anyone may stop by the church office, 512 Georgia Street, each week day afternoon or call the church office at 586-3301. special interest classes that begin at 7;00 p.m. will be a group activity time. Featured in these sessions w ill be the li Genesis singing group and puppeteers. Other evenings will feature sing-a-longs, the films “The Christian Family" and "A New Love For Candy." On Friday evening all will participate in a worship celebration and holy communion. Teachers for Family Renewal Week include Sonja Mathis, Glenice Bolze, Irene Schmidt, Susie Farrar, Julie Barnett, Pat Perry, Wes Williamson, Joan Larsen, Joe Lowry and Pastor David Barnett. Lois Ross will direct singing. There are said to be two million comets in the solar system. He who carries in his pocket a piece of wood splintered off by lightning is believed by some to have great strength.
