Members of Troop 81. Girl Scouts, have been involved with a large number of activities included in them is the making of a quilt for the new baby of their leader. Mrs. Norman Beem. The girls used liquid embroidery to do a variety of designs and later hand tied the quilt with yarn. The quilt was presented as a surprise gift at a welcome back party recently. The girls have also been working with Brownie Fls-Ups in order to help the Brownies bridge to Junior scouting and to earn their Junior Aid Badges. Future activities will include day camp planning session at Stunt/ Pine Forest on Saturday. Also planned is an afternoon at Century ( enter Theatre for a children's musical performance. All the girls will be participating in Fly -Up and aw ards presentations to be held on May 7 at Stuntz Pine Forest. GIRL SCOUT CAMP JUNE 5-9 The Jo-Marsh Association of Girl Scouts Das Camp will be held at Stunt/ Pine Forest. June 5 to 9. Anyone mas attend esen if they are not a scout prosiding they are registered before Monday. Mas 15. Registration fee is S'.oo plus a small fee for overnight to be collected during camp. The theme for camp this year is "WA on Top.'' based on Worlds To Explore. Registeres campers will attend a pre-camp planning session to be held at the campsite on Saturday.
