Mrs. Hilda Ashton and son Chuck, of Hobart, spent a few days at Koontz lake with her daughter and brother. Mrs. Ashton is recuperating from foot surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Wade Stillson and son Ross, of Clearwater, Florida, left Sundax for Dexheim, Germany, toxisit their son and brother, Jeff, who is in the Army. They will be gone three weeks. Mrs. Jennie Gillette was the guest of honor at a noon dinner given by Mr. and Mrs. Randy Johnson. Kenny and Andrea, on Sundax. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Johnson and Mrs. Edna l inn. On Sundax evening a surprise birthdax party was given in the Randy Johnson home for Mrs. Gillette with many relatives and friends present to wish her a happy birthdax. Mrs. Betty Kunkle. Mrs. Doris Calx in and Mrs. Bonnie Smith spent a week vacationing at Lake Placid. Florida. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Newland and went sight seeing and all reported an enjoyable time. A surprise birthdax party was given Monday. April 24. for Mrs. Irene Murray at her home at Koontz Lake. The guests were her neighbors and a few friends. Guests were Mrs. Dorothy Meyers, Mrs. Helen Reed. Cindx Welachich and daughter Cathy, and Wilda Ashton, of Hobart, and Midge Buza, of Chicago. Lucy Kazmierczak and daughter Dawn, of Chicago. Ihe refreshments that were served were cake and coffee prepared and taken in by her neighbors. Mr and Mrs. Dennis Ream are the parents of a daughter. Melissa Jane, born on Saturdax. April 15 in the Osteopathic Hospital. She weighed in at three pounds and six ounces.
