WALKERTON TOWN BOARD NEWS The Town Board had a special meeting April 24 at ~:00 p.m. with the following members present. W. T. Elkin. 0. C. White. Michael Corbett and Jack Rizek. Two township trustees were also present. Lloyd Stephenson and Dean Anderson, of Lincoln and Johnson townships respectively. I he main purpose of the meeting was to get the town's insurance settled tor the year. Both companies were discussed that being Volunteer Firemans Insurance and John M. Small Agency. After much deliberation and on recommendations from Stephenson and Anderson, the Town Board on a motion by White, seconded be Rizek. voted to use the John M. Small Agency as their insurance agency for W 8 It was decided to discuss the radio communications problem at the next regular board meeting. One claim was approved and the meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m WRITERS SEMINAR SET FOR SUNDAY A Writers Seminar will be held at the Koontz lake Librarv on Sun day, April 30. at 2:00 p m ( S I Sister Mary Dolores, of Am ilia College, will be in charge of the meeting whuh is sponsored bv the Writers Workshop Everyone is invited to attend Refreshments will he served bv Workshop numbers and there will be time allowed for questions bs those who want more speeifii information Sister Marv IMorvs
