United Methodist Women Meet In Walkerton The general meeting of the Walkerton United Methodist Women was held in the Fellowship Hall of the church on April 20. The meeting was opened bs president Mildred Smith with a poem on “Happiness”, followed by prayer. We were reminded of the "Day of Inspiration” to be held at Ancilla College on April 24. Also the Mother and Daughter Banquet to be held May 3 at John Glenn High School. tickets are now available. There will be a Bake Sale on Ma\ 13 at the K or C Building. Discussion was held about the Country Store to be held in October. and it was decided that we would include Arts and ( rafts in the sale. They were Mrs. Harry Malstaff, president; Mrs. Richard Hesters, vice president; Mrs. Harold Knowlton, secretary; Mrs. ( harles Daube. treasurer and Mrs. Esther Kaufman, reporter. I here w ere 25 members and one guest. Juan Hesters, present. Mrs. Brooke Bowers, president, presided at the business session. Final plans were made for the Spring Jubilee. The club w ill serve the election meals on May 2 and Mrs. Malstaff will get the lesson.
