John Glenn Baseball Team Action Underway The John Glenn baseball team has been busy fighting the weather along with their opponents in the young season. Here is a capsule summary of the action to date. Mishawaka Wins Opener Mishawaka defeated Glenn at the Falcon diamond 6-5 in the opener for both teams. Mike Schuster was the winning pitcher for the Cavemen while Rob Moore took the loss after relieving Kevin Gaw who pitched the first five innings. Gaw allowed two earned runs on three hits, while Moore also gave up to earned runs on five hits, allowing two additional runs on three Falcon errors. Dale Merkel and Jeff Stratford led the Falcons at the plate with two hits each, one of Stratford s being a two run homer in the first inning.
