CARDS THANKS^ Thanks to my friends, relatives and neighbors for the prayers, cards and visits during my illness. I as a member of this community am very proud of our Police Department and feel very secure knowing that they are there protecting us. They are a great group of people and we should all be proud. They provide us with many services all on a voluntary

basis. In many towns these services must be paid for on a yearly basis by all of the people in the community. So I think we should all try and be as cooperative and helpful as we can w henever our Volunteer Fire Department needs us. Because remember they are always there when we need them. Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on January 19.1883. She had lived in the Walkerton area for 40 years coming from Laramie County, Wyoming. She is survived by several nieces. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26 in the Nusbaum-Elkin Funeral Home, Walkerton Rev. Lloyd George, pastor of the Missionary Church. Koontz Lake, officiated. Burial was in the Grovertown Cemetery. RICHARD WINKELMAN Richard Winkelman. 50. of Rural Route 2. Box 704. Walkerton, died Sunday. April 23 at 8:30 a.m. at Memorial Hospital. South Bend, following an extended illness. He was born May 2 7 . 1927, in Sarasota. Florida, and was a lifelong resident of the Koontz Lake area.
