Mrs Noble Sheatslvy's grandson. Noble D Sheatsley. of Crafton. Maryland, graduated from George Washington University. Washington. DC.. on February 20 with a Masters Degree tn Science. He works for N.A.S.A., a space agency in Maryland. In last week’s paper we reported that Mr. and Mrs. Hutty Gaddis were celebrating their 40th anniversary and it should have read their 40th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gordon have returned home from a two month’s vacation at Longboat. Key, Florida, where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn P. Carson. Mrs. Carson is Mr. Gordon's sister. On their return trip home they visited a few days with their son and family. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gordon, in Indianapolis. Mrs. Roslyn Henethorne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Houser, who has been the Assistant Director of Nursing at Memorial Hospital. South Bend, has accepted the position of Director of Nursing at Van Wert County Memorial Hospital. Van Wert. Ohio. She assumes her new position on April 17. Roslyn is a former Walkerton resident. Everett Baker is a medical patient in the LaPorte Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Whitteberry and Tammy and Mrs. Helen Smith were in South Bend on Sunday to view the dramatization of The Tord’s Supper at the Shrine Cathedral.

Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs Esther Kaufman were Mrs. lona Kiss. Mrs Nada Dawson and Mrs Rachael Barthel, of LaPorte. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Labno and Gloria and Mrs. Helen Kaleth will serve as hosts for the Saturday evening carry-in dinner of the Koontz Lake Conservation Club. Visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rensberger last week were Mr. Lyle Rensberger. of Roann; Terry and Clare Ross, Wabash; Victor Rensberger. LaPorte. and Mrs. David Rensberger and son. Walkerton. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Duthie. Koontz Lake, returned on Sunday evening from a winter's stay in Victoria. Texas, with his sister. Mrs. Martha Olin. They stopped in Lake View. Arkansas and brought Mrs. Greene home with them for a few days. They also stopped in Charleston, Illinois, to visit with friends. Miss LeAnn Hostetter, of Indianapolis. spent five days here last week with her grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hostetter. On Sunday her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanton Hostetter and Johnny, came to spend the day and to take her back home with them. Mrs. K. C. Chapman spent Saturday and Sunday in Bluffton. Indiana, visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson and daughter Sarah. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lowry, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hostetler. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Weigand, Mr. Jack Rvan, Mrs. Janet Tarnow and Mr.
and Mrs. John Wolff were Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs Larry Lowry. This was a good time get together with a delicious dinner and visiting. Mrs. Ida Mae Watkins entertained Wednesday at a noon luncheon for the following guests: Mrs. Elizabeth Martin. Mrs. Elsie Crambert and Mrs. Elsie Morris. The afternoon was spent visiting. Guests for the week end of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Newell, of Kixintz Lake, will be Mr. Joseph Uhlir. of Oak Park. Illinois, and his daughter Sally. Uhlir. of Chicago. They will be celebrating Sally Uhlir's birthda y and also Roy Newell’s birthday when Ray will be 87 years old on April 18. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gerber were Sunday guests of their son. Charley. at Ball State for Parents' Sunday. In the afternnon they attended the Spring Sing. The Botsford women and Swinford men Halls singing group of which Charley and Herald Hostetler are members won the first place trophy for the residence halls. The group did a medley from “Oliver." Mr. and Mrs. Grant Houser attended a concert at Indiana State University. Terre Haute, on Sunday. in which their son. Craig, is a member of the- carsitv band, who performed. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wiktorow,ski spent Sunday at Bloomington with their son. Steve, at Indiana University. Martha Young returned on Sunday after spending three weeks in Hobart with her sister. Bertha Jungerman and family and Mrs. Young's son. Mr. and Mrs. MacYoung and family. Tyner To Host District Meeting For Rebekahs The Rebekah Lodges of District 23. comprised of Marshall, Fulton, Kosciusko, and Pulaski counties, will hold their Spring District meeting at the Tyner 1.0.0. F. Lodge Hall. Thursday . April 20. at 1:30 p.m. with Tyner Rebekah
Lodge 865 as host. Verda Karn, of Tyner, District Deputy President, will preside. The President of the Rebekah Assembly of Indiana, Grace Wingler of Salem, will be the instructor for the afternoon. A salad bar dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. at the lodge hall. The evening program will start at 7:00 p.m. with special entertainment. At 8:00 p.m. the Tyner Rebekah Lodge with Kay Williams. Noble Grand, will open in regular form. During the meeting Tyner Rebekahs will confer the degree on new candidates. Theatre In The Round Setting For Style Show More audience participation is the goal of the all-new “theatre in the round” concept for this year’s annual Tri Kappa style show. Fashions for all family members have been selected from three local shops. The Brass Lion, Her Place and Mini Shop. Models will mingle with the audience enabling them to see the fashions and even touch them.
